About

__

I am a multi-disciplinary artist and craftsman based out of Seattle, WA.

With a deep mastery of traditional techniques and a passion for modern innovation, my creations span a diverse range of disciplines, including fine art photography, custom furniture design, and bespoke lighting pieces.

In my photography, I specialize in black and white imagery and astrophotography, capturing the profound beauty of natural landscapes, celestial wonders, and the intricate details of everyday life. My cyanotype prints, crafted with care and precision, evoke a tactile connection to photographic history while exploring fresh, modern interpretations of the medium.

My fabrication work reflects my commitment to functional artistry. Each piece of furniture or lighting design is meticulously crafted, blending timeless materials with cutting-edge design to create functional objects that elevate their surroundings.

Here you’ll find a curated collection of my work—a testament to my dedication to craftsmanship, creativity, and the art of storytelling through objects and images.

Philosophy

"Draw your attention to what draws your attention".

I have quietly honed skills and cultivated interests that, though often intangible, have proven to be of unexpected value. Whether it's observing the way light embraces a curved corner on a jobsite and capturing it in a photograph, immersing myself in the precision of a custom wood joint, or nurturing a curious fascination with the realms of theoretical physics and its practical applications—these seemingly abstract pursuits often elude the conventional focus of "getting the job done." Yet, over time, I've come to realize that there is no definitive endpoint. It is in the obsession, in the moment when light catches my eye, in the questions sparked by a fleeting moment of concentration. These are the moments that anchor me to the present, where all truth resides.
